Helzberg Diamonds Promotes Using Recycled Materials in the Workplace
Helzberg Diamonds cares about the environment and continues to aggressively
factor environmental causes into our business decisions that range from printing
and distributing our catalog to our office forms and cleaning supplies to our
burgundy gift boxes.
Printed Forms
Ninety percent of the various forms used in our everyday business are printed on
base stock containing 10- to 20-percent recycled material. We use paper
containing 10 percent post-consumer product for 65 percent of our printed forms,
and an additional 25 percent of our paper contains 20 percent post consumer
product and is used for stationery, envelopes, and business cards.
Office Supplies
Our headquarters offices and individual stores use office supply products made
from recycled materials, from pens, recycled copier and printer cartridges to
binder clips, staples and file folders. Each year, we recycle more than 15 tons
of used office paper and crush and recycle more than 60 tons of corrugated
cardboard boxes.
Cleaning Supplies
Additionally, all of our cleaning and restroom supplies are made from recycled
materials.

Even the "magic of the burgundy box" gift boxes are made from recycled material.
