Certification

Certification

Not just a piece of paper — peace of mind.

More than any diamond buyer’s guide, a certificate of assessment from an independent gem association, such as International Gemological Institute (IGI), Gemex, or the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) can identify the characteristics that make your diamond uniquely yours. It will give formal "grades" on aspects such as color, clarity and the cut of your diamond.

When you want the certified best.

Many people are most comfortable with expert proof of a gem’s properties and worth — rather than their own opinion. If you trust facts more than you trust your eye for style and diamond quality, consider buying a certified diamond.

Helzberg Diamond Masterpiece®

Helzberg Diamonds carries several types of certified diamonds. Our exclusive Helzberg Diamond Masterpiece® for example, is expertly cut according to very strict standards, resulting in an extremely rare and beautiful diamond.

In order to be called a Helzberg Diamond Masterpiece®, a diamond must receive an "excellent/excellent" grade for polish and symmetry — the highest possible grade given by the Gemological Institute of America (GIA).

Helzberg Radiant Star®

Our striking Radiant Star® is another example of an exclusive, certified diamond. Each Radiant Star® diamond comes not only with an IGI certificate, but with a GemEx Light Performance Report that documents this beautiful diamond’s superior light performance. It must be ranked in the higher grades for brilliance, fire and sparkle before it can qualify as a Radiant Star®. See our whole collection now.

Many other diamonds we sell are certified. Look for words such as "GIA Graded" or "IGI Graded" next to the product description.
