Buying titanium is not a heavy decision.
Titanium is prized by aerospace engineers for being extremely hard and resistant
to corrosion, yet it’s very lightweight. Now it’s becoming a force in the
jewelry industry, popular with people who work with their hands, or who are
sensitive or uncomfortable with the weight of jewelry on their fingers or
wrists. Since titanium is roughly 1/3 the weight of gold, it can feel lighter than air. Because titanium is such a strong metal, rings
are created from a solid block. For this reason they cannot be sized later — so
make sure you’ve double-checked your finger size before purchasing!
