Helzberg Diamonds Official Rules for 2008 Write-A-Review Sweekstakes

2. Entry and Eligibility: The Helzberg Diamonds Write-A-Review Sweepstakes begins April 7, 2008 and will recur for four promotion periods through December 26, 2008, with the first promotion period beginning April 7 and ending May 31, 2008, the second promotion period beginning June 1 and ending August 31, 2008, the third promotion period beginning September 1, 2008 and ending October 31, 2008 and the fourth promotion period beginning November 1, 2008 and ending December 26, 2008 (each a "Promotion Period"). To enter, submit to us by 11:59 p.m. (CST) on December 26, 2008, a qualified written product review as outlined in the Customer Ratings and Reviews Terms of Use. Registration is required to submit a review. You may enter as often as you like. In lieu of online entry, you may enter by mailing a postcard marked "Helzberg Write-A-Review Contest" to Helzberg Diamonds at the address in 7 below for receipt by the above-deadline, including your name, telephone number and home address. To enter, you must be age 13 or older, a legal resident of the United States and a state other than Rhode Island and not be an employee, officer or director of Helzberg Diamonds or any of its advertising agencies or law firms or an immediate family member of any such person (Helzberg Diamonds and all above-identified affiliates and individuals are collectively referred to herein as "Helzberg Diamonds and Affiliates"). Each qualified entry qualifies only for the drawing held for the Promotion Period the entry is received and will not be carried over to subsequent drawings. All late, lost, damaged, misdirected, incomplete, illegible, undeliverable or destroyed entries are invalid entries, regardless of the cause, including, but not limited to, any problem or technical malfunction of any computer online system or server or technical problem or traffic congestion on the Internet or at the above-referenced website.
    
3. Prizes, Drawings and Odds: Within two weeks following the end of each Promotion Period, Helzberg Diamonds will conduct a drawing to randomly select one winner from all qualified entries it receives during that Promotion Period. The prize is a $250 Helzberg Diamonds Gift Card for each Promotion Period in which the entry was made. The odds that a qualified entry will be selected are one out of the total number of qualified entries Helzberg Diamonds receives during the applicable Promotion Period. Helzberg Diamonds reserves the right to disqualify entries and entrants it deems non-compliant with these Official Rules and shall be deemed the sole interpreter of these Official Rules.
    
4. Claiming Prize: Each winner will be notified by email. The winner (or his/her parent or guardian if under age 18) must complete, sign and return as directed to Helzberg Diamonds within 20 days after the date of the first notice of award an Affidavit of Eligibility, Waiver of Liability and, where permitted by law, Publicity Release. Upon timely compliance with these requirements, Helzberg Diamonds will mail the prize to the winner. The prize is not transferable or redeemable for cash and cannot be refunded or exchanged. The winner is responsible for any and all federal, state and local taxes, fees and other applicable government assessments on the awarded prize. If the winner fails to timely respond or fails to fully comply with these requirements, or if Helzberg Diamonds determines the winner ineligible after review of the Affidavit, then the winner will be disqualified and an alternate winner will be randomly selected.
    
5. Waiver and Release: By participating, each entrant agrees to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of Helzberg Diamonds and further agrees to release and hold harmless Helzberg Diamonds and Affiliates from any and all losses, damages, claims and actions of any kind arising from this promotion (including, without limitation, claims based on publicity rights, defamation or invasion of privacy) or from the acceptance, possession or use of any awarded prize.
    
6. Applicable Law and Geographic Area: All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. This promotion is void outside the United States, in Rhode Island and where prohibited by law.
    
7. Sponsor and Winners List: The sponsor is Helzberg's Diamond Shops, Inc., 1825 Swift Avenue, North Kansas City, Missouri 64116. You may obtain the names of the winners by sending a request and stamped, self-addressed, #10 envelope to the above address.
