Some days the whole outfit is jeans and your favorite T-shirt, and that's exactly when a little color at your ears does the heavy lifting. Each earring sets one oval cabochon-cut natural turquoise in warm 14K yellow gold, and a friction post and back keep them snug from your first meeting to the last load of laundry. Wrap them up for the friend who still mails handwritten birthday cards, or keep them for yourself, because waiting for a special occasion is overrated.
