My husband purchased my engagement ring from Helzberg Diamonds in 2023 and also invested in the lifetime care plan (which I would highly recommend). Overall, we have had a mixed experience, and I just wanted to share feedback in the hope it helps improve any future experiences!! Since receiving my ring in August 2023, I’ve had ongoing issues with loose side stones and prong instability. Almost every time I come in for a cleaning or inspection, the ring has to be taken in for tightening or repairs. Just 2 days ago one of my side stones fell out and I actually lost it - which is thankfully covered under the care plan, but it has still been stressful and inconvenient. Over the past year, multiple employees have mentioned that they would not typically recommend my ring’s design because it is impractical for everyday wear. This was never shared or explained to my husband when he was designing it, and had we known, we would have chosen something more secure from the beginning. As a result, I have been exploring a reset into a more practical and supportive design for some time now, though it comes with an additional cost of close to $1,000 after already investing significantly in the original ring….. and it’s a pretty simple redesign. Throughout this time there have been staff members who have been wonderful and helpful, while others have provided some inconsistent or unclear information. There has been some staff turnover and a lot of changes at the store recently which could be contributing to this. On my most recent visit I only avoided moving forward with a redesign by asking follow up questions that revealed it wouldn’t work as initially presented. So just make sure you clearly articulate what you want and ask loads of questions before making a big purchase!! I truly appreciate that the care plan has covered repairs and the replacement stone, and I value the time staff has spent helping me. I just can’t help but wish we had been given more thorough and realistic guidance at the time of (a very big) purchase regarding the long term wearability of the design, which could have helped us avoid repeated repairs, hesitation with wearing my ring daily, and now a potential costly redesign only 2 years later.

Josh, Joe, and Kelly were absolutely amazing! Went in just expecting to look at engagement rings since this was the first time my boyfriend and i went to shopping, and didn’t expect to find my dream ring! They were extremely accommodating and let me know about all the customizations i could do like taking a diamond from one ring and the band of another. They were also extremely knowledgeable and helped us make more informed decisions, like what prong would better hold the diamond in and not make the diamond appear yellow. The magnifying camera was also so cool! Really personable staff and genuinely cared about building my dream ring. Also really great warranty plan! Go here!!!

I had my wedding band refurbished and some loose diamonds fixed. My ring came out beautifully!! We used to go to Jared's, but we really started to realize that they were over charging us for subpar refurbishing. Helzbergs prices are great and tge job they did was spectacular!
